OK, these are for lazy gardeners...like me. I used to, and sometimes still do, put the granular down. But these are every 6-12 months and done! Our fruit trees (Orange, Tangerine, Papaya, Loquat, Lemon) can''t seem to tell the difference. I use these about once a year, then supplement with granular 6 months later just to be sure they''re getting enough. Put these as close to the outer circumference of your trees as possible (the drip line) and they will help. They''re sooooo easy to use. Just hammer them in. I don''t even dig holes anymore. They go down 3-4 inches into the ground by just hammering them in and done!

I review hundreds of products I buy on Amazon and rely on reviews from others a lot too to make my purchase decisions. I paid full price for these and will again unless I find them on sale. I only buy and review items I really need or want. I only rate an item 5 stars if I would pay full price for it or be willing to give it as a gift. I do give 1 star (since you can''t give 0) to items which are so bad that I throw away, return for refund or wouldn''t want even if free. I try to mention all the pros and cons of products. I have no affiliation with this company or any company for products I review, and my reviews are always totally my own (including any photos/videos). I hope my time spent reviewing this item helped in your decision. If it did, please vote "yes" below! Thanks!

This product Killed my 4-year-old peach tree. In early spring my peach tree developed green leaves and then soon it produced peach flower blossoms. My tree had been producing fruit but it just wasn''t getting much bigger year after year. I babied this tree! I put 300 lbs of the best soil in the ground, surrounding my tree when I first planted it 3 years ago. I bought it as a 1 year old tree from a local nursery. Peach trees grow very well in Utah, where I live. Although my tree was producing fruit, I wanted my tree to develop a wider trunk and thicker tree limbs. I have neutral Ph soil, not acidic and not alkaline. I put 2 stakes of Jobes Fruit and Citrus fertilizer about 2 feet away from its trunk. Within 10 days all the blossoms died as well as the leaves on my tree. My tree was completely bare. I watered my tree, I decided to wait and hoped that the miracle of Jobes Fruit and Citrus fertilizer would help my tree. It did not, Soon my trees branches were dry, brittle and dead. I decided to dig up the stakes in order to save my tree. I watered it and waited. Soon all the limbs of my tree were dried out and dead. the limbs snapped off like dry dead wood. This morning.... 2 months after implanting the Jobes Fruit and Citrus fertilizer stakes, my tree trunk snapped after pulling on it slightly. Its sad to me because I babied this peach tree. It was a "Contender" breed, known for uts hardiness and fast growth. I wish I would have just left my tree alone.

My trees endured a hard winter and I had to cut them way back as there was so much damage. I am so happy to have found Jobe’s Citrus tree fertilizer. Since sticking it half way in the pot, the trees are perking up nicely and I am so exited to see the new growth!

We have a few dozen fruit trees and about the same number of fruit bushes… including cherry, apricot, apple, plum, grape, peach and a few others that will grow in our Zone 6B climate. I’m not inclined to do things when I should when it comes to fertilizing but this approach is a real no-brainer… just bang them in the ground when our clay soil is moist from the spring rains and then that’s it after about 30-minutes of work for about 25-spikes. The trees do get a little more help during the short growing season on an as-needed basis

After doing this for about 4-years there''s a noticeable improvement in both the quality and quantity on both the trees and bushes. Last summer was a bumper crop of Nanking Cherries with plenty for us and the birds... same with the grapes. We also use All Seasons Horticultural Oil Spray Concentrate to spray everything while still dormant in early spring and that kills the insects before they can hatch and eat the buds... which means no fruit. I was cheap before but now bang in one for everything that bears fruit and it''s been well worth the minimal effort and cost it takes... and everything is much better than the tasteless things sold in our local food stores.

These things are awesome. After the big Texas freeze, not only did we lose power and water, but all of our citrus. Had them set up under tarps and had strung them with Xmas lights, but there is no accounting for corporate greed and politicians lining their pockets. Stuck these magic sticks around the base and each one revived. Then I found out that we had to take them all out, because all of the citrus that tastes good in Texas are grafts. Thanks Jobe''s magic sticks, we had some really strong roots to deal with. Oh I gave you 5 stars for flavor, the citrus liked it, but people, please don''t lick or eat them, they are plant fertilizers sticks, they will give you nasty splattery poops (our dogs go hold of a few).

I have used Jobe''s stakes for years and years, but thisd year is the first time I have noticed how much good they have done. We have had a terrible year weather wise. It looked like it was going to be the first year we did not get any fruit on our fruit trees. I used some on my mango tree and it flowered a second time, after all the flowers had been killed by a storm with heavy rains. An old grapefruit tree which seemed on it''s last legs and had only produced one grapefruit in 20 years (we didn''t know what kind of tree it was for the longest time)... has 5 fruit on it now, and, actually, it is a pomallo. Those fruit are huge! (They weren''t before I used these stakes). My coffee trees are covered in flowers. Our Pommagranite is putting out a second crop, long past when it typically produces. I am so happy with the results I ordered a second package, because there were not enough for all of our trees. I think there are now, and if we run out or come up short, I will be ordering a third.

Wow, I''ve been growing fruit trees for years now. My main tree is this large Avacao tree that fruts often and gives around 200-300 Avacados. While I generally feed off season to help the tree grow and keep any kind of chemicals out of my food when fruiting, my first brush with these are amazing.

I used on my my fruit trees and saw almost immediate green and growth. It was towards fall and leaves were turning and dropping and still this make my trees look alive and healthy. Hoping this feed during the winter helps these become even better crop producers.

The ease of use and obvious postive effects on my plants makes me have great hope for this product which I plan on using in future years.
